Frank Butterfield is a personal trainer and group fitness instructor and has been for the past 25 years. He is certified by the American Council on Exercise in personal training, group exercise, lifestyle and weight management. Formerly the Fitness Event Manager for NIKE, Inc. and director of the US launch for Body Pump. Currently fitness editor for Las Vegas Life magazine and Wellness Spokesperson for Sigma Phi Epsilon National Fraternity. Recognized as Top Personal Trainer of Las Vegas by Las Vegas Life.

Frank Butterfield has spoken for Fitness Experts throughout the United States, Canada, and 22 others countries around the globe. Topics range from anatomy, kinesiology, motivational and creative workshops, and the application of Eastern thinking to Western living. He has keynoted conferences in the U.S., Norway, Sweden, Australia, England, Korea, Taiwan. (and more) Frank also speaks on the college circuit, on health and wellness and living your best life.

Dr. Josh Satterlee is a frequent guest speaker and runner with the Rockin Runners. As a runner and tri-athlete, Dr. Satterlee understands first hand the many issues that can arise as a runner progresses from a beginner to a more advanced runner. Dr. Satterlee takes the time to speak with Roadrunners both as a group and individually about any issues they may be experiencing during their runs and is also available for appointments during the week if more extensive car is required.
Dr. Satterlee was born and raised in Southern California and received an athletic scholarship to Montana State University. While in Montana, he competed in Olympic Weightlifting and studied Biomechanics, both of which piqued his interest in the human body. After college, he wanted to continue his understanding of the body and enrolled at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, where he received his doctorate in Chiropractic.
To better serve the needs of the athlete, Dr. Satterlee became certified in the application of Kinesio Tape (made famous by the women's beach volleyball team at the Olympics), and Active Release Techniques, (ART). ART is an integral part of care at Ironman events and continues to help many local athletes with conditions ranging from plantar fasciitis to sciatica. By actively participating in triathlons, road races, and various endurance events, Dr. Satterlee understands and appreciates the needs of the endurance athlete and doesn't say "just rest".
James Johnston - Founder and President

James Johnston Jr. has lived in Las Vegas for fifteen years. As manager/owner of The Athlete’s Foot, he runs one of two successful family owned shoe stores in the Vegas Valley. Through The Athlete’s Foot, he became a Master Fit Technician, which enhanced his knowledge of the human foot and common foot conditions associated with it, which enables him to work with medical professionals. He trained under Mr. Tom Brunick, editor of “Runner’s World” and “Walking” magazines. For ten years now, James has worked with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training, conducting their equipment presentations, readying runners for marathons. He has organized many running and walking clinics designed to educate the public on healthy training habits. James was recently invited to Nellis Air Force Base (NAFB) to speak about proper footwear at a Commander’s Call. For many years now, he has been an invited guest at NAFB’s annual health fair. He also conducts presentations at the Health and Wellness Center (H.A.W.C.) at NAFB on a regular basis. James has been married for eight years to his wife, Poppy, and has a son, Matthew and a daughter, Madelynne. James has won the Community Citizen award for volunteering his time and resources to help ensure that local residents and youth have opportunities to be physically active in safe and supportive environments. Currently James in contention for “The Man of the Year” award through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. James has recently run the Las Vegas ½ Marathon and is looking forward to many more.

He brings his love for running and athletics to the table on every transaction. Many athlete’s, pro and beginner alike have utilized his advanced training. His knowledge of gait analysis and human physiology help to match the best equipment to your feet. The Athlete’s Foot utilizes an advanced computerized FIT PRINT system to help match your foot type to the proper shoe. James takes great pride in training his staff on proper gait analysis and customer service. The Staff at The Athlete’s Foot are trained, non-commissioned sales professionals. Because of this high level of service, It is important to set up your first fitting by appointment; which usually takes an hour to complete. After the first fitting, walk ins are always welcome. Exchanges can be made up to 2 weeks after purchase.
