Coach Cynthia is an RRCA and TNT certified run coach and has trained over 200 people to complete a full or half marathon…with a 100% success rate! Cynthia specializes in training beginners to do a full or a half marathon, whether they run or walk or do a combination run/walk, but also works with people that want to attain a PR (personal record), as well as develops customized training programs for advanced runners. Her motto is: "Helping ordinary people do extraordinary things!"
Cynthia tries to create an environment that is not just about running and/or walking to complete a marathon or a half marathon. She creates an environment to make running and walking fun and encourages people to make it become part of their everyday lifestyle, making good friends along the way. Since Cynthia started running about 6 years ago, she has met hundreds of great people and has made so many lifetime friends, that she feels like she has an extended family. As she continues her running journey, she hopes that you will come along and start your journey with the Rockin Runners!

Central Las Vegas Training Run
Start your marathon training today at our Athlete's Foot location. This is our largest and most seasoned location with close to 100 runners signed up to run with us every Sunday morning! You can expect a great team of advisors, assistant coaches, pace leaders, volunteers and just cool people to welcome you into the group. Give our free one week trial a try, or if you already know what we're about, go ahead and register for the 2010 Las Vegas Marathon and Half Training Program.

James Johnston Jr. has lived in Las Vegas for fifteen years. As manager/owner of The Athlete’s Foot, he runs one of two successful family owned shoe stores in the Vegas Valley. Through The Athlete’s Foot, he became a Master Fit Technician, which enhanced his knowledge of the human foot and common foot conditions associated with it, which enables him to work with medical professionals. He trained under Mr. Tom Brunick, editor of “Runner’s World” and “Walking” magazines. For ten years now, James has worked with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training, conducting their equipment presentations, readying runners for marathons. He has organized many running and walking clinics designed to educate the public on healthy training habits.
